    83 185s chain adjustment

well I have attempted to tighten my chain that is loose as hell, the 4 bolts i have to loosen wont budge, and before I go any further and strip them or break one are there any ways to get them loose? they are not rusted at all, just really tight, do i apply heat? please someone help, I don't want to ride it until I get the chain normal
    thanks

They are a pain somtimes . I use a 1/2 breaker bar and if thats not long enough to get them loose i'll extend it with a piece of pipe for more leverage

heat it up and try,if that dont work spray penetrating oil on it in it around it,let it sit overnight and try again.
