Go to the home page bud, and look at the Keihin 200x review. More often than not a carb rebuild is useless. It's cheaper to go with a new carb and a lot less trouble.

^^^ Dont fully agree with that statement... (No offense Hang&Rattle) I find that hese carbs have been neglected so long, that often it takes 2 full cleanings to try and get them clean.... I had to use 2 rebuild kits to get my BR running right, (once the kit had wrong jets in it) But also the gaskets swell on install... I would say re-clean the carb....

Thorpe is right so try what he suggests, I'm not quite the hand he is so I usually just try to replace, I'm too impatient.

^^^ Cant entirely blame that... My BR carb had me so pissed off, I was about ready to abandon the project....

i cleaned this carb 3 times 2 times with carb and choke and an air blast then i boiled water with some lemon juice put the carb body and all jets in it for like 7 minutes still same i also had it running and it would not take the gas on high rpms and that ended up being pulse generator timing got that right it starts on the first pull and revs awesome now just cant get that thing to idle right. it will idle for like a 20 seconds then stall out and also if i rev it up it wants to idle high for like 10 to 15 seconds then it idles down. i sprayed for vacuum leaks and i have none it is weird i never had a carb give me so much trouble and it still makes the plug black like a rich condition
