    Exclamation Honda atc 110 is not getting spark need help!!!

    hello i was wondering why my atc gets spark when its cold but when its warm it dies and doesnt have any its a 1985 honda atc 110 i just orderd a flywheel puller and i have a spare 110 engine that i pulled off a trike with a cracked frame so im going to switch out most of the electronics any help would be appreciated!!!

    also check your coil too i have heard of them over heating.... Check it with the multimeter cold and recheck it when it gets hot....

    i say ignition coil too. try to find a swap and see if it fixes it

    I had the same problem with mine. I changed the coil and it never happened again.

    ok thanks but i dont have the flywheeel puller yet i wanna know how i know if its the cdi or something else because there expensive

    Id suggest downloading the manual here on the forum. With a meter you can check resistance of the Coil, "AC Generator" and the like, narrowing your list of possible faults.

    The CDI suggestions are because you said its fine when cool, bad when hot. Id start at the coil personally, test both primary and secondary. A buddys 110 wont start unless its a brand-new plug because his secondary is getting weak on his coil. He doesnt have the time or money right now, but thats the first component he's replacing. Weak spark all around.
