Can I use 22x10x8 tires in place of the 22x11x8 factory size on my YT125?

LIke the thread title says, can I use 22x10x8 tires in place of my 22x11x8 tires.

I know someone is selling a pair of them and I would love to use them in place of my street style ttires that are on the trike now.

Yes actually i would recommend it. Lighter tires on he YT125 will help give it a little more umph.

It won't be a problem even with the slightly larger front tire? Thanks for the advice!

Nah, won't be a problem at all. The different will probably be so slight you won't even notice it, unless you're buying some crazy mud tires or something.

the difference is the tires you want are 1 inch narrower than the stockers, so yes you can use them and no it wont make a difference in anything accept you MIGHT not float as well on snow and/or mud.....wont make any significant difference in power since they are the same height..unless as mentioned above that the 10's may be slightly lighter due to the fact they are 1 inch narrower...but that still may or may not be so depending on the type of tire you are looking at and how many plys....the 10's could actually be a hair heavier if they are more plys....

so in short, you can run them, there should be very little if any difference in performance

Cool. Well I bought them. I got 2 22x10x8 knobbys and 1 22x11x8 knobby for 20 bux. I was happy. They even came with rims but they are the 4 lug rims and my yt has 3 lug rims.

LOL I will get them changed out tomorrow. I'm kind of excited to take the rims off and clean them up and paint them.
