ok, i have ran a few quarts through now i want to check and clean the filter screen and rotor since who knows when it was cleaned last .
so how bad of an idea is it to use a liquid gasket material like rtv ? money is tight this month and i am looking for a quick and temp fix .

Bad idea... Cheapcycleparts.com Had the gasket for my BR for 12 bucks
