I marred the threads on the front axle on my 1981 250R in the process of removing it. Does anyone know what size die to get to repair them.

Measure them......
Probably 12 or 14MM x 1.25 pitch......
The 8MM bolts have the same pitch so you can check it out. 10MM hardware store bolts aare 1.50 pitch usually..............
