how the hell do you clean aluminum like that? i have a 60's era 10 footer from my grandpa, it was heavily abused, and that was before he died 13 years ago...after that it was just neglected outside in northern michigan...so yeah, its rough

This one was rough too, lots of oxidation. I used a fine grain steel wool (took forever) and then a coat of Mother's Mag and Aluminum polish.
