Where can I get plastic for patching fenders?

I just want to stop some cracked fenders from cracking any more. I figure if I sandwich 2 pieces of semi-flexible plastic around the crack and pop rivet it into place, that should prevent the spread of the crack plus kind of hide the crack.

So I'm looking for some black flexible plastic that will be used as patches, any suggestions?

One kind of plastic that comes to mind is the same type of stuff that they use for those Plano fishing/storage boxes except that plastic is clear.

i have used this numerous times was a great investment and is easy to do. I would go this route rather then riveting anything. http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/pr...dFamilyId=3540

Yes harbor frieght does have them as well. The second link you posted will work fine. Just follow the directions you'll pick it up fast.. Very easy to do. I suggest practice on a piece first to get the hang of it. then go ahead..

If you have a regular old solder gun, that will work as well. I repaired a small crack yesterday this way.
