Has anyone tried the Athena piston kits? If so, how did you like them? How do they compare to other pistons?

Thats high priced to me, especially for a no name kit. I have a new Wiseco 10.25:1 kit that i'll sell if you need it.
The person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the person who is doing it.

athena,,, no name???? you live under a rock? athene is one of the best yfz bigbore kits,,
I like Athena kits, they seem to really hold up. I wish ART was still around, they made great pistons.
Wiseco is my current pick due to wide availability.
You will cry, you will scream if you've heard half the **** I've seen.

Athena pistons are top of the line. Not a week goes by where I don't install one in somebody's machine. So far we have had no failures. On a side note, there is another German company called Wossner that makes a very high quality and precise piston for the 85-86 R. I have one in mine. In my professional opinion these two companies produce a piston superior to a Wiseco.
