    2 Big Reds 200E for 350 dollars, should I buy them?

    Someone I know has 2 Big Reds for sale and would sell them for 350 dollars.

    One of them is complete and the rear fenders are slightly cracked, the other one is missing the recoil starter assembly and has no plastics at all.

    One of them has the front rack forks and the other does not have the mounting points for the front racks.

    I know that one is an 83, but not sure on the other, I think its an 82-84.

    They are not currently running but both have valid titles.

    I would offer $275 and go from there. Check for fire, compression, wheel bearings, brakes/cables. If that is all realatively good then go for it.

    How can I tell if the trike without the sticker is an 84 200ES? and what makes the 84 200ES special?

    On the left side of the case there will be a black lever marked "H" "L" "R"
