Warrior shock..... any stock one will do ,, and any of the major manufactuers like elka, works will have a aftermarket shock for a warrior
ok thanks
so that will bolt straight on ?
Yes.. bolt on .... you will have to use some hose clamps for the reservoir, as the reservoir hose is a touch shorter.. and the rez.. is a touch smaller... but it will clamp in the same location.
ok thank you
now i just have to find one
hardly any parts in australia
Yes, I put a Warrior shock on mine a few months ago and it works great. I also bought a second one for cheap off Ebay for when the first one blows. I just couldn't pass up the deal. The first one I paid like $75 shipped and the second one I paid like $52 shipped. They are both off of 2004's. On a side note, Is it worth keeping the stock, blown, OEM Tri-Z shock??

i bought one just then i paid us$125 shipped to australia. on my stock tri-z shock the chrome plating has worn of the shaft. i got quoted about $500 to rebuild it
If your looking for more height, a 300ex shock will also bolt right on. I was not extremely comfortable with it, because it added a bit to much to my ride height.

Wow,,, your both from Perth and meet here...lol C@@L!!!!!!
ask zmpolaristech he says a raptor shock will fit if you want a fully adjustable set up. i'm not sure on which years fit but not the 2001's i know that...
the damn fuel tank is in the way and well, it's not a weld able plastic that i know of we tried that with polyethylene and polypropylene, neither welding rods stuck cause we thought we could cut the tank and weld a piece of pipe cut in half to fit the resivore of the banshee shock in but the plastic of the tank it's self must be a cross link like seaboard or something like that...
but yeah good luck
ps heating it ant trying to bend the tank out of the way also failed too thin and no way to effectively heat the inside of the tank...
i got a warrior one for a spare for 20 bucks off of craigslist.

My advise would be to NOT listen to a thing this dip says. he doesn't know anything about trikes (or anything else for that matter)...
NO raptor shocks will fit. yes, they will bolt up, but the reservior won't clear the swinger on the piggyback models, and the eye to eye length is about an inch and a half too long. the oem 2001 raptor shock is actually the only year that will bolt on without modification (they had remote resy's) but they are still too long.
