had a master switch off a 200 model honda atc on my 350x when i got it but it wouldnt kill the engine when you moved the kill switch.so i picked up a real nice one off another 350x on ebay.and now i still have the same issue move the switch will not shut off the machine.anyone know what the deal is with that or have this problem with their machine ?.

Well it's obviously not the switch. Follow the wires and go from there.

Check and make sure that it is hooked to the coil properly and grounded properly. I think there is a wiring diagram on here.
