They are not banned, just the sale of them are banned, that's been lifted 13 years ago. The sale of any atv is down right now, and new govt. regulations make it too expensive to produce a trike product. On top of that, insurance, labor, steel, etc, is to expensive for a profit, and only a handful of us are actually interested. There are folks on these forums that are rich and could definitely produce and build these vehicles, but know there is no profit or market to continue on a large enough scale. I mean, don't you think it would be done by now? TPC and several other hands build hi-bred trikes and there are several good builders, the market is already cornered by the top notch builders, who will be bumped if someone produces a better product more efficiently, extremely competitive. If Honda, Kawasaki, etc, where to reproduce another trike it would be junk anyway. The steel produced nowadays is garbage, the motors are disposable and will only last about 10 years, and china uses cheap labor. It's irritating people chase windmills, when the facts and info are right in front of them. READ AND RESEARCH!
