if it were a new to all place without the american and coachella canals to box us in....i would say haul that huge thing....that would be a life saver....I cant tell you how many times Ive been night riding, where buggy tracks turn to quad tracks turn to motorcycle tracks turn to no tracks>>>LOL, wasn't til I learned to read the stars and quit relying on distant glows from cities or prisons or pump stations that i felt secure in riding at night while still expecting to sleep in my own sleeping bag that night vrs sleeping out in the dunes....LOL

drags happen anytime you get to the hill.. if you set up a tree i am pretty sure LEO will be right there looking for your permit.. there is NO organized racing aloud, unless you have a permit and insurance.. so there is no reason to attract any more attention to us or the event.

Actually you can, you just cant charge. Without the giving the state there cut. Its not really organized. You saw it at rasor, its not much, Ive had it at pismo where the cops are crazy there, but they cant do a thing. It will be fun to find out who the fastest REALLY is.

The light is 2'x2' and about 3' tall. and can be ran off a generator.

i miss having comp hill open at night in glamis, that was wild, but the punks made it worse every year and ruined it....do they shut down test at night in gordons? i havent been there in over 7 years

the only thing that dies is the drags on the upper level above buggy flats. at dusk it shuts down because of the darkness.. unless it gets out of control. then the leos cut it off.. but test and patten are always open, even on the weekends.

ACTUALLY you can not have any kind of organized racing without a permit and insurance. i don't know how many times you have been to gordons well.. BUT the last thing you want it to attract alot of attention to your group . they randomly do walk thrus at camp.. and i hope EVERY machine and person has all the required paperwork necessary. because i have set and watched several times as they go thru everything . the newest is carb cans .. do you have them? do you know what they are? gas is cheap compared to the fines they hand out,, for the stupidest things . but they can and do,,, these are not scare tactics just a reality in the imperial dunes in the last couple of years,,, its revenue generating not a safety issue. what maybe ok in your little corner of the world won't fly here,,,

Well then we are good, Like i said, its not organized. I think your just scared. You race one way, and thats being the last one to pull up and roll the start (aka, cheating) So lets do some fair un organized racing. Like i said, there is no orgizination, so there is no one to look at. now thats some funny stuff right there!!!! the fastest??? cheating??? wow ,,,, if i wanted to be the fastest... i have more than enough money to build something FAST. but there is always someone faster.. someone always has more money ALWAYS and drag racing doesn't do it for me..

at razor i was totally against a heads up desert race yep i totally admit that.,,, 3 hours from any medical facilities ,, and an hour off the blacktop.. lucky nobody was seriously injured... but i prefere not to play when the odds are stacked against me ... BESIDES the imperial invasion is not a race or a competition . if your coming with those intentions you might be a little disapointed ,,

when you start staging people at a light your organizing,, and i am pretty sure that makes you liable for any accidents too.. thats why when the boyz from planet sand do their events at olds its not an open free for all...
