Can somebody figure out a way to get the INVASION a little plublicity on the main page .W I think alot of members just don't click over to the events link .Seems the headcount is flatlining need talk this thing up guys !

dont worry, it will be a better turnout than last year, and you have to remember, this ride is publicized by several sites, there will be many more coming than just what you see in this thread..... its a great opportunity for members from different sites to meet each other under the common umbrella of 3. which is what the originators meant for it to be...

True mm87 but I think blog area where we have been reading about damit's sponsors for the past 2 months would be a great spot to highlight the Invasion. You make a good point about the other 3w sites .I will email over at s and see if he can do some promoting there as well . btw : missed you Thanksgiving out at the Well , looked a few times out at the flats but did not spot your ride.Dide see aout 5 trikes which was nice to see .

theres a new POI out at gordons...we need a group pick OF AS MANY TRIKERS AS WE CAN GET OUT THERE, I'll have my 4 seater dune buggy to take people if we lack individual rides


its in the valley to the east between the third and fourth set of dunes


its obviously been there a while (because you see someone has painted it and maintaining it) but its becoming quite famous real quick

no ones releasing the GPS co-ordinances so it will be a fun thing to find it as a group

I can see that thing growing in size and people adding on to it as time passes .Hopefully the BLM (fun police)Do not take it down .The solar lights are a nice touch . Minty how cool would it be to build something similar Invasion Week . Kind of a donation to the Duners from the trike community .

I was thinking more of a old rusted out trike leave out there with some random signage near it .Did you notice how they drove stakes into the grond and secured that bench so it would be tought ot move? could weld some angle Iron to the trike and secure it like that as well . Guys look at the above photos and toss some ideas about this out there . Think it would be a fun project . We have got some creative members throw out some ideas if you are comming or not .

I need a few things for the vids. If anybody could bring this stuff it would be awesome.

Is anybody bringing a black trike and by chance do you have all black riding gear? If so I have a part for you in the vid.

If one of you I-can-build-it types can mock up something that resembles a lightsaber, we need two of them. Specifically the handle part. The "blade" can just be a wooden broom handle that inserts into the handle. Painted red and blue (or green). If you need more info pm me.

1 pair of black binoculars. Don't need to be functional.

1 can of air freshener in a spray can. Don't ask.

Probably more that I haven't thought of yet.
