I need some help. I know there are differences in the rear caliper from an 85 to 86. Are the brake pads the same? I have brake pads for an 85, but i can't get the caliper to mount up correctly with them on.

Found my answer, now can someone tell me why the pads will not fit back on the disk. Also changed the pads on my 85, and now the parking brake cover will not fit back on. Do I have to adjust it, or should the stem on the plunger fit inside it?

Have pushed the pistons all the way back in and backed the parking brake adjuster all the way out?
