    Ohio riders

How many of you Ohio guys knew about this money grab? I sure as hell didn't. Note the date on my newspaper. There just a LITTLE late telling us about it. And what if you don't have a title? I know every state is different and that's been discussed on the boards before. Damn thieves!!!!!!!

i for one did know about it......but i agree it is damn near impossible to get a title in ohio......bill of sale....just wont cut it....tehy make you jump through hoops....id love some advice from you guys who have done it....i bought a 83 200x from the second owner, its never been titled.....now im told by the title bureau that because i bought a atv with out a title, they can "review" my bill of sale and then i will be made to go infront of the majestrate and he will decide if i am able to get a title (aka he will decide if its state property or mine)....anyone deal with this problem?

just tell them that you are the original owner and that the shop that you bought it from is no longer around. You will need a witness to sign an avidavit saying that they know that you are the original owner. That's how I did it.
