Was trying to adjust the chain on my 85 350 and wasnt having any luck. I loosened the two allen bolts on the swinger, but the darn thing wouldnt turn but maybe an 1/8th of an inch. The last time I adjusted it everything moved real easily. If anybody has any ideas Id appreciate it. I really didnt want to force it too bad and mess something up. Thanks

I know you can drill and tap a hole in the bearing carrier and thread a bolt in long enough to threw a gap in the sprocket and just role the machine backwards and the sprocket hits the bolt and turns the carrier.

You probably need to pull it out and grease it. Or you don't have any adjustment left.

Mine has a 12mm bolt up through the carrier from the bottom... you have to turn this bolt out before you can move the carrier

wouldnt hurt to pull the axle and clean and regrease the carrier.repack your bearings too.you may be at the end of your service life on your chain too (MAXED ADJUSTMENT)
