    Sasquatch 340 Help

Does anybody have an owner's manual or know what type and weight of the fluid is in the rear differential, of my Sasquatch 340.

I want to drain and add new fluid but can't determine the type. It doesn't smell like 80w 90, but it has been in there a long time.

This axle has fluid , unlike a lot of other trikes with sealed bearings.

I'm always looking for spare parts for the Sasquatch.

I don't have the answeres but wanted to chime in that I seen my first Sasquach (sp?) last week and i was very impressed with it.
This one is in great looking shape.
I will be talking with the owner in a week or so ,,, perhaps he has the owners manual (?) ,,, I will ask.
I am also very sorry i did not get pictures of it.

Bonjour Motorhead, I wasn't able to awnser you question that you asked me in pivate last week because i was away from my garage.

When i bought my Sasquatch, it came with alls the originals paperwork.
So i have the Originals :
    Owner's Manual for ''Granger 340 and Sasquatch 340 '' ( 7 pages) ,
    Parts Manual for '' ''Granger 340 and Sasquatch 340 '' (15 pages) ,
    Kawasaki Engines Operetor's Hanbook,
Assenbly Instructions for the Granger and Sasquatch and
Manufacturer's Statement of Origin to a Motor Vehicle (for my Sasquatch)

    In the Maintenance Section,

    TRANSAXLE
    1. The transaxle requires no daily maintenance.
    2. Fluid levels should reach the check plug on the lower righthand side of the case.
Fluid should be checked every 100 hours or more often if any leakage occurs.
    3. Replace or add automotive automatic transmission fluid.

BELT ( you wants to know the #
the # of the parts book is : 0656, my Sasquatch came with a spare belt and here is what i see on it :
    704142 SALGBURY Kevlar aramid Reinforcement

    Et voila

Wow thanks for the info. I just was given a sas340. and the transaxle seems dry ( no Fluid) heck i was going to put gear oil in it, 80w 90 the same stuff you put unto manuale tranys in a car. i would not have thought to put automatic transmission fluid. into it. i would have thought it to thin. again thanks .
