the banshee would have to be far above stock to "beat all"

a 250r would beat a banshee all day long and the TPC atc 450's will beat a 250r.

i would like to do it more than anything but right now i dont got extra money to do it im paying off a trike then trying to get some other ones.
i will do something like that in the future.

    This is my trike.
There are many like it, but this one is mine.
My trike is my best friend.
It is my life. I must master it, as I must master my life.
Without me my trike is useless.
Without my trike, I am useless.
I must roost faster than my enemy who is trying to beat me to the finish.
I must beat him before he beats me.
Before God I swear this creed.
My trike and myself are defenders of track.
We are the masters of keeping quads the losers.
So be it ... until there is no quad left.

fastfreddy44 built his for around $7500. there are many options you can have and also a matter of how much you have to pay for the TRX450ER to begin with. the TPC is not like going to the Honda shop and buying a one model fits all 3 wheeler with no options. the aftermarket world is limitless for the TRX and CRF so it can be built with anything you want. if you want one from a new TRX then you have the cost of a new quad to begin with. you can sell the parts you don't need after you are done. if you find a great deal on a uses quad then that helps on the build cost. the only thing is, the stock swingarm is not long enough so you have to have an aftermarket swingarm. Lone Star makes a great product but you could go with most any brand of aftermarket swingarms.

Built looks great. Some how all of use 450 guys need to get together and do a ride day and compare our machines and see what we like about the others. Banshee trike has been built, but it is hard due to the pipe set up and not worth the hassle. Also I know personally that my atc450 will kill most banshees that arent all out drag bike in a drag race and murder them on trails and tracks.

yes, if you take a little time to find the parts and donor bike then it really would not be that much money. the price of a 2006 TRX450ER has gone down. i see them for $2500 from time to time. i restored a 350X for my cousin and had enough in it that another $1000 and he would have had a TPC.

Bill is very busy building new bikes but keep trying, you will get hold of him. i am not sure but i think he is in the middle of 3 at the same time.

i have got 4 hours on it so far. the first hour was easy going and stopping and going to check everything out. after a couple little adjustments and another hour i started to ride some trails. this bike is awesome. it done great with no troubles at all. i went up a couple big hills and even jumped the top some. i am looking forward to getting the PEP shock and DC6 link from Lone Star and the front forks set up for me. i plan to hit some big jumps after that. we will see if i can back up my old pictures with new ones. don't hold your breath though, i am getting to old,lol

i have now raced with 3 differant swingarms. the stock, a plus 1-1/2 and a plus 2. the stock swingarm is to short for the TPC. it is very hard to keep the front end down with the stock swingarm. i then raced with Bills plus 2 Walsh. the plus 2 was very nice for MX. the front end never came up until i wanted it to, it was a great fit for MX. this past weekend i raced with the plus 1-1/2 lonestar swingarm with stock 450 shock and linkage. i thought the stock shock would completely suck but it was much better than i thought. it took much bigger jumps than i thought it would. the less weight of the 3 wheeler balanced out the extra leverage ratio of the longer swingarm. if someone was to build one on a budget, the stock 450R shock will work good for the plus 1-1/2 swingarm. for me, i love the plus 1-1/2 swingarm the best for all around riding and hill climbing but for someone real serious in MX, i think the plus 2 would be best. many people will want the plus 2 for all around riding and hill climbing but i like the feel of the 1-1/2. the 1-1/2 makes it feel like a 350X to me. if i was to build one for keeps i would build it with the plus 1-1/2 swingarm. i feel that anything longer than plus 2 would be to long for all around riding.

Well I saw you jumping it this past weekend (heel clickers and all) and it seemed to handle the landing very well. Nice riding, by the way!

If you ever decide that you don't want this thing anymore, I've got a real nice place in my garage. It should fit just right.
