when I first built it .. I bought the motor with no brackets.. well I simply rotated the front brackets and drilled the holes out.. well after 2 seasons of racing every weekend on akly.. the mounts show sign of cracks ...so to tighten the ol girl up again.. I bought 86 490 front brackets.. bolt on!

88mm 1 mm over ,Wiseco.... a true 499cc motor.. 1 cc short of 500

i know a guy who has a 490 200x, they cut the bottom half of the frame out of the 490 and cut the bottom half outta the 200x and put them together the thign is scary and has scarred many people

the cylinder I sent out for re-pair ,,, is un repairable.. I have to eat the 1mm over piston I bought and buy a new piston and have the cylinder Re-sleeved,, wiesco sleeve and wiesco piston. Lancourt is installing the sleeve ,, to the tune of twice I was going to pay + the loss on the piston..

the plus's stock bore again,nika-sil cylinder , and the sleeve will be repairable in the future.

that dont mean there no work to do.. Pulled all the bearings in the lower end & seals . All will be OEM
by far the best blind bearing puller for these motors!

got my old school , cooler rack NOS..

and orderd a new cooler!

250f front rez, and new lever..nice and short!

gas tank bracket all bolted up,, thanks MTS!

That sucks about the cyl. Was it cracked? Or just

ed hard at tf? The bike's looking great though, and should be a terror in the sand. I need a puller like that too. Where'd ya pick it up at?
