I was wondering if the clutch on a 200 automatic would fit or if someone makes a kit that would make it into a auto clutch? can some one help me please?

The short answer is no, the parts won't swap and there is no aftermarket kit.
The long answer is that if you have the money you can do anything with enough of it.
"Yes its broken, but does that really surprise you?."
"What happened? What does it look like happened?!?!"
thanks ,i tough I'd ask suck when you have an idea and no answer.there's got to be machinist that can do that type of setup?it's not complicated.
Unless it was something smiler to a recluse auto clutch where you could also use the clutch normally it would really (in my opinion) make a 2-stroke really hard to ride or at least keep it in the power band. Kids are quick learners if your persistent on them learning to use a clutch

Im 15 and it only took me about 5 mins to learn a clutch. just tell your kid to talk to them self. that's what i did i said shift and such while i was learning. Now its just second nature.
or pick up a cheap automatic for him...
dont mess with an r get or make an auto x if you want but leave the r as is

how old is the kid? sounds like with his lack of expirence a 250r is not what he should be riding anyway..... watch the 20-20 video............................................. .............
just teach him to work a clutch it will be in his best interest.
This is my trike.
There are many like it, but this one is mine.
My trike is my best friend.
It is my life. I must master it, as I must master my life.
Without me my trike is useless.
Without my trike, I am useless.
I must roost faster than my enemy who is trying to beat me to the finish.
I must beat him before he beats me.
Before God I swear this creed.
My trike and myself are defenders of track.
We are the masters of keeping quads the losers.
So be it ... until there is no quad left.
i would recomend a second auto clutch machine also.....wouldnt try to mod the 250r...cant make a silk purse outta a bulls scrotum!
I've got a 12 year old that has ridden everything I own (250 & under) bikes included, granted he has about 3" of clearance between the seat and his but when he is standing on the pegs and needs blocks to start and someone to catch him when he's done (on the bikes), that being said I surely wouldn't cut him loose on my Tecate or something he cant at least "onefoot" on other than in somewhat of a controlled environment, but he has been riding since he was five and clutching at 8. His first bike was an auto (TTR50) when he wanted something bigger he had a choice... learn to use a clutch or stay on the 50. Wheelers are a bit different because of the many auto choices but still at least to me, learning to use a clutch is all part of learning to ride. And if you want him/her to learn a bit quicker make him/her kickstart it themselves (kicking ain't fun / riding is ... they catch on really quick) Its not just a boy thing Ive got three girls from 13 to 16 they all "clutch" if they wanna ride they have to, there are currently no automatics in the stable...

i wouldnt ruin a 250r just so your kid could ride it..making it auto defeats the whole purpose.R's are animals and they arent ment to be messed with..get him a big red or a 200s or something..dont ruin the R
With so many auto machines around it wont be a problem for you to find a nice cheap one for the boy. Believe me he'll be making his way to the R soon enough!....and he'll thank you for leaving the bottom end alone
