i thin you'll take the hundie, tecate 200 quad ? right ?
Are you sure it isn't a klt200? Which is a 4 stroke and nothing like a Tecate. If it is a destroked 200 or even a 250 Tecate he'll leave you in the dust. If it was a destroked Tecate you would know a foolish bet when you've made one. ytm200 vs klt200 which it likely is, it's pretty much either one of you guys race. Too close to call on paper.. run em... The only Tecate's made by Kawasaki were 2 stroke 250's in 3 wheeled or 4 wheeled form. The only Tecate 200 is one that was a destroked or debored 250.
Edit: Why has the site been adding an extra word at the line split lately? It's not there when I try to edit..

Who cares what it is. Run'em ! Only one way to find out.
he says its a 200. he got it in a barn find. any way he raped me in the run. i think mine wouldve been faster but that tecate has balls to the wall acceleration.
A gentleman's bet should've been a dollar, not a hundred... ouch.

^It's a Tecate 250 for sure then. Also, you're going to have to fork over quite a bit of cash for it. They aren't cheap, even if it is your buddies![]()

Tecate non stock 200's do exist, I bought one in 1991 Oak Creek Wisconsin equiped with a ported/polished klemm cylinder, Klemm Pipe, ext swinger-no name, Fox racing shock, plus 4 axle. It was very, quick & fast, but even faster when the Kelmm 250 cylinder was thrown on... The DNR didnt like me on Okachee lake doing 68 mph in the snow with no registration. Why I sold these parts... I'll regret it.
