Worst 350X head repair ever......

Thanks guys , I had to get it to USPS so Twitch can take a picture of the finished product. I put some epoxy under the stud just for looks.

The plug goes much deeper than the crack, we both got lucky.

Any 350X head with nice cam journals is well worth saving.........

ABSOLUTELY! that was the achilles heal of that engine as far as im concerned. the 2 valve 200x engine had roller bearings for the cam to ride in, but the 4-valve 350 had just plain journals???? seems a bit backward to me...

just wanted get some pics up of the final product. DC did a great job on this and cleaned it all up.

the pictures are a little blurry cause i took them with my phone but the close up on the stud is the one that had the wall drilled off it.

when you goign to come up with a way to fix the scoring cam jounals dilema i ahve 3-4 heads you can experiment with .

I can do as many as needed, hopefully, someday a sleeve or needle bearing fix for the journals.

I believe Megacycle cams does a needle bearing kit for the 350X. Someone should check into at as I've only been told that by a few customers.
