dirt sport magazine 198? atc 300r jump

hi, a guy came to my house a few months back and asked if i wanted to sell my 200x. after talking for a while about it and about the 250r and stuff, i learned that he was in dirt sport magazine in the 80's for a 60 ish foot jump on a 250r with a 300 kit. he gave me his name and number, and said if i ever want to sell it, to call him. well.... i lost his number so if anyone remembers reading an article about a 60 foot jump, or talking to a guy who knew a guy, or whatever... if anyone knows who this is, and has any info on him that would be great.
