86 250r carb rebuild kit?

Hi,
Any one know about finding a carb rebuild kit for a 86 250r? I can find them for all other years just not the 86. Checked ebay and found nothing, bikebandit said they could get me the rings/seals for like $38 bucks. Its only like 3 of them. But no needle, floats, jets etc.. The carb may not need the entire kit. It is leaking a little gas out of the over flow. Just a drop every 15 min or so. Don't want to take it apart until I have a replacement or rebuild kit. The carb may just need a cleaning though...

Should I consider replacing the carb with one that they make rebuild kits for? Like the 85 250r carb? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

No you'll want the '86 carb, if you have extra cash try
A 38mm pwk carb. Latest technology

Cool, thanks! I'll check them out. GOing over their web site now. some of these after market carbs are very expensive!
