i am a proud owner of a 1984 ytm 200e shaft drive and my cousin has a honda big red 250. his is def more powerful than mine, but what about speed? we know of an old dirt road that is exactly 1.05 miles long and thenon the main road. were going to see who can hit the 1 mile mark first. who will it be?

hahaha funny results on the first run. my ytm won but its because my cousin was going to beat me but he didnt shift al the way into 4th and it made that fast clicking sound and i blew by him. the next two runs he kicked my ass. do you guys think if it was a honda br 200 i couldve won? i think i could.

I own a 1984 200ES BIG RED and it's top speed is 45 mph all stock, the 250ES will out runn it by 5 - 10 mph all stock. It is much more powerfull with 50 more cc's so it would get you on take off and top end.

So are you saying a 250es will go 50-55mph? Had no idea. I'll have to ask my buddy why he's driving so slow then. He can't keep up to my 200x when I'm in 4th.

A Friend of mine has a 200 Big Red with 25'' Wooly boggers and his motor is just about to blow (leaks/burns oil bad) but he pulled up next to me on the road I was on my foreman and we ran 52mph Pretty amazing!
