just the other day i had a YT175 mint condition 3 wheeler sitting on my front lawn. i found a guy with a 1985 atc250es big red who wanted to trade. when i got it i made sure it ran and was an okay machine. but i need help because when i ride it and go around the block or something when i shift down and put it in neutral and it revs up too high and i monkey around with the carb and make it idle just slightly but it does the same thing after a ride and sometimes it just bogs out. help?

needs a carb clean.
something gummed up, tear it down and clean it up, re-adjust everything and it should be fine. Make sure to look inot the gas tank for any dirt, I run an inline filter between the tank and carb.
me in the water, thought is was shallower, boy was I wrong.
