    250r swing arm

    can anyone tell me the diff. between a 85 250r atc and a 250r atv.all i can find is atv swingarms, i need to stretch mine out badly.

    The 85 swing arm uses a different bearing carrier, brake mount, and axle.

    you can use that swingarm if you use the 86 and later aforementioned parts....


    YJ350: was the caliper itself different as well?

    Dont quote me on it but I do believe they are the same caliper just a different mount. The 85 has a brace off the caliper mount that bolts up to the swing arm and the 86 has a bushing on the swing arm that the caliper stay fits over.
