what type of riding do you do? you will be surprised as for snow, balloon type knobby tires will work almost as good as wooly boogers, but in mud thats a different story. I have used a pair of wooly booger type tire and they work great for trails, mud, and snow. They are just very heavy and not sporty handling whats so ever. If your riding is just trails and mud and snow with no worries of racing around then the woolys will treat you good. But for a 200x id go with something a little more sporty. I would almost want a 20-11-9 tire for the warm months and a 22-11-9 wooly booger or something for snow and mud.

thanks for the info and i did go with a more sporty tire, and i got the snow tires too. not much of a selection for the front. iam also keeping the stock rims so there is not much to pick from for 8" rims. i can see myself getting some 9" rims in the future.

You planning on getting 20" or 22" tires?
