1984 atc200s restoration

in the process of bringing an old 1984 atc200s back to life. unfourtunately i lost most of the "before " pictures which really sucks but ill post some pictures of the parts and how it sits right now . it was badly beaten with a lot of rust and a seized engine . Picked up a rebuilt engine with a 10:1 one piston replaced broken forks , replaced plastics, seat , it had a bent axle

sure i probably could have bought 3 runners by the time it will be done but the finished product is going to be worth it . lol

i cheated a little as well 350kris hooked me up with some of the nicest 200s parts around other then OEM thanks so much for the great parts !

still on the list to be done


install the new axle carryer
new tank of some sort
powder coat the frame
powder coat engine / sprocket cover
powder coat pull starter
install new sprockets and chain
new / powder coat rims
powder coat from brakes / axle
replace bars
replace broken tail light
polish plastics / new stickers

It came with my plastics it is a "ceet" brand cover it shouldnt be hard to find

Also need a good used one piece rim 8 inch you can see they dont match drives me crazy lol

making some progress other then a huge delay on the tank which still is not done . found a set of mint OEM bars still looking for mud flaps and aome decompression parts. i got the powdercoated axle carrier installed recently too .

slowly making progess.

finally found found all of the parts i need the mud flaps and hardware took for ever and cost a fourtune but i finally got them (not shown in piks yet) . the tank is done and looks great i think in the next 2-3 weeks its getting torn down for final powder

Thanks ! Turbotacoma nice job ! My rear fenders were cracked recently its going to be hard to find a clean set.

PAPA250r I am going to post the pictures I sent you on here too! I pretty much rebuilt the whole trike. Here is the list:

New hand grips, new handle bars, new headlamp, new seat cover, new front tire (from the owner before I got it), 2 new rear tires, new chain and sprockets, new 200x carb... even though mine worked well too, new 200x piston and rings, top end gasket set, ported and polished stock head and valves, ebay cam like web cam 55-521 (200x performance cam), new DG RCM exhaust, new centrifugal clutch shoes, new clutch plates and springs, new brake cables, new front fender and rear fender from maier (my g/f broke the front fender and the rear has a crack on the left side), uni air filter, paint the rear rims with dupli color graphite wheel paint... (still have the front rim to do).... I still have some other work left to do. Paint the tank, front forks and front rim. Clean up little things. The weather has been really cold so the painting is on hold.

oh man awsome looking trike!! i just put a top end gasket kit in my old 84 200s also, if i could find rear fender and a head light it would look better!!
