Will a fender off a 250R bolf up to a 84 200x? I know they are a different style but will they bolt up and clear everything on the 200x ?

Yeah, they fit on allot of trikes and look better! People say they don't fit the 86/87 200X but all I run are R fenders up front......

What did you do for the brake line attachment on the other side? Thanks. Any pics?

Not sure what model 200x front end I have, I think 85, but it has a metal/rubber holder around the brake line that bolts to the tube and has nothing to do with the fender. I have many miles on this trike with no problems.

Thanks Ironbnder for the pictures. I was just wondering because on the stock 200x fender it has that upper cut out where the brake line goes through. I will check to see if I have that lower line holder.

I thought so too, I believe thats an 86/87 200X thing. Stupid useless plastic that breaks when you crash, I'd rather have the ring, BUT, I do have one mint 86/87 intact I 'll polish up and sell for 1000$ in 5 years

After seeing Dirtcrashers thread yesterday and being guilty of the latest R fender on an X, I thought I would at least avoid the third strike of not posting a resolve. I decided to but the R fender Orangecnty250r had listed. It came in today and I put it on. Fit's prefect and I like it.

There is a molded hook in the left side, I assume that's to work with some OEM 250R brake line clamp but mine is set up SWB and my brakes will be on the other side. I guess I'll make some kind of clamp that goes on the back of the lower triple clamp. I'll figure something out when I get to that part and I'm sure there will be pictures in my build thread. Here's one where you can sort of see the hook in front of the fork boot.
