I saw that bike first hand. it was in my friend bike shop. the kid also has a yfz450. from what I'm told the kid uses the bike to show in pits. no its not a 87 its a 86. he bought white plastics and a white 85 white light shroud. and the nitrous doesn't work, its not hooked up. the guy wants it to get hooked up. heres a pic of my 250r, when the motor is ready I'm gonna go to englishtown.

and another pic. yes, that there is a elka rear shock on the bike. now it has a +4 lsr axle, progessive spring in the forks, elka shock, v-force reads, 38 a/s carb, k&n filter(no lid), cool head, ported/polished cylinder, esr pipe, xcr's on beadlock, frontmax front tire. the quad in the backround is my project 250r, it was a runner, the cylinder blew and I cannibalized parts to build the atc. I'm rebuilding it with a 88 frame after I'm done with a 350x I want to buy and rebuild.

the tires were $75/piece, the rims are 9 inch Itp beadlocks with reinforcing rings, they were expensive, don't remember how much, I know the elka shock cost a good deal more The next thing I want to do is get an aluminum front rim, wave front and rear rotor, polish the forks or paint them. the bike is alot wider than it looks, it hardly fits in my pickup. I'm hoping e-town will let me ride it on the track, I getting sick of being behind kids, utility quads and in general people who can't ride at chattsworth. Here is a pic of my trx250r before it got cannibalized. Its funny to see the look on people's faces when they're get smoked and outjumped by 18 yr old trikes.

no, 86. I have a 88 frame to build up. after I'm done with the 350x I want to build. I liked the way the 89 hood looked over the 86/87 headlight. the air ram gives away a 86/87 r.
