hey guys i just put a carb on a free ytm ipicked up and coneected the fuel lines and such and when i pull it over it doesnt do any thin. is there anything i can do to make it start?

Try a little more info. When you pull it it does nothing. Does that mean it doesn't turn over, doesn't fire, doesn't start? You replaced the carb, was the carb missing, you were told it needed replaced, is it the correct carb for the bike? Do you have spark, have you checked compression. There are guys here that can tell you exactly what's wrong (I'm not one of them) if you give them enough info.

it turns over fine just doesnt fire a bit.100percent right carb vm22sh. bout to check spark. dont have compression gauge.let you know if i got spark.

if it trys to run with a little dose of starting fluid, you'll know which direction to concentrate on.
spark at the right time is the first thing I check..after the oil, of course.

Have you pulled the carb off to clean it? I would get a rebuild that carb.

i just cleaned the carb on my ytm 225 prob the same idea as yours when i put it back together i put the float in upsidedown which stoped the float chamber getting any petrol. i never knew what way to put it in as its oval both ends. make sure its not the same with you.
