Im from the east of the Netherlands and unfortunately probably the only trike owner in the region.
I like 4 stroke mopeds and after I had a Honda Dax, I now have a C50 as daily ride. Then I have a beautiful CB77 from '66 that needs some work, doesnt run at the moment but seems to be in a very good state.
A while ago I bought a '82 ATC 250R that didnt run but I'm working on it. Waiting for parts now.
I will post photos later.
Ordered a revision set for the carb cuz I cant adjust it. Hopefully that will solve it, otherwise i will buy another carburator. Any reccomendations?
I also see that a lot of people use lower tires in the back than the original big ones. And a pretty high and narrow front wheel. Is it nicer to ride that way?
Then theres another problem, I dont know if I should open a new topic about it but Ill tell it here anyway.
On the left carter is a transmission/clutch oil level check bolt, but the wire is broken.
I figured I could best solve it by putting a helicoil in it. But do i have to get the whole engine out to get that carter off? I dont think drilling in it while its still mounted is a good idea..
Anyone got an idea how to fix it? Or maybe just a solution to cover the whole so that the oil doesnt come out.
Thanks in advance, Mark.
