    200x no power on throttle

I replaced the shift forks in a spare motor a couple weeks ago and finally had time to run it. Fired right up and ran strong. Shifted through all the gears and alls good. Rip er round the farm a couple minutes, a buddy shows up and wants a go at er. He comes right back and says it started ti run like shat. It fires right up and idles great. Revs up nicely in neutral. Go to ride and really puttin it's good. But when you get on the throttle it sputters and has nothin. Took the carb apart and it's spotless. Put it on and same think. Put a freshly rebuilt spare carb on and same thing. I'm also messin with the choke while trying to ride it to see if that helps. It doesn't. What's up? It really ran good then all of a sudden something happened. Something electrical that's not workin when above idle?

Could a valve/rocker arm adjuster nut (IDK what they are actually called) come loose and not letting the valve open enough to have proper flow at high RMPS?

Well, I guess I pulled a boner move. Checked the valves and pulse gen and all was good. Go back to the basement for another mind settling Budweiser and start thinking. Then I notice the carb I supposedly switched on my workbench. D'oh!!! It was the freshly rebuilt one. I took the first one off and put it back on. Effin dumbaise. Put the freshy on it it ran like it should. Guess I should pay attention a little more. Pulled the bad? carb apart again to find two holes in the main jet plugged. Ran out to the x and looked under the newer freshly painted tank I put on a week ago and,.............................................. ...........no inline fuel filter. Again, I gotta pay a little more attention sometimes. Put a filter on.

    Gotta run an inline filter.
