I ran into the same thing. I only had the vin # to go register it. motorsports store registers it no questions asked, but goes into dnr database and i'm sure they search the #'s

thanks i am stoked ! i could have a police officer come and check the machine but id rather not invite jonny law to my place, cops are like vampires...once you invite them in, it renders you powerless.(lost boys)
on a side note : when the dnr officer first stopped by my youngest seen his badge and gun and ran inside yelling to her mother that i was being arrested for riding wheelies ! kids are great, turns out i needed to clean the vin up becasue he couldnt see it clearly, hes coming back monday then i get my stickers, that im not crazy about having to put it in my machine
