Do you lose sleep thinking about your 3 wheeler?

Every night when I get in bed to go to sleep I have to go through an hour long mental checklist of parts I need, parts I want to change. Projects that I need to finish. I lay in bed for at least an hour thinking about rare Tecate parts and where can I find them?

Anyone else have this problem? How do you get to sleep? I generally go to sleep around 11 and have to get up at 4:15. I'd love to get that hour or two back every night.

I really need to go buy a lottery ticket.

I can feel your pain. I go to bed trying to figure out which one i want to work on the next day, or where my next trike is gonna come from. I think its just part of the addiction. lol

No I sleep just fine. I just think about how I can modify this or that all day long. Right now I'm building a quadracer 250 with a suzuki GT750 motor in it. But I'm no welder so I'm trying to find someone with the fabricating abilities to make it fit and work this will take a long time but will be worth in the end.

Yep, this happens to me all the time. I lie there unable to sleep because I'm brainstorming some new modification or fabrication.

And lately, I've been losing a lot of sleep.

I learned to get away from that way of thinking long ago. It's just an inanimate object. It doesn't pay my bills,my mortgage or put money into my 401K.

Doug....don't let that kind of crap interfere with your sleep or daily way of life.

    They're just 3 wheelers.

I've been known to walk downstairs to the garage, pet the handlebars, and say goodnight. The wife thinks I'm nuts. It really is an every night deal. Then I think about how much I need a better paying job to afford those new parts, and around we go again. I think I need an Excedrin PM or two or three.

yes, I run the checklist every night, and I have been known to leave the porchlights on for them, and they're parked right by my bedroom window so I can watch over them. some nights it's so bad though I'll just sit and stare all night or go over and polish them, and yes i know you're not supposed to wash them or you'll anger the dirt-gods, but I don't care!, I LOVE them like they're my own little children. and the whole family thinks I'm bonkers!

I just hit the internet with full force to research the beast that keeps me awake. I sleep when Im dead. I stayed all night a couple nights ago and researched my latest build. Thanks god I work for myself.

Tecates are not the new sheep, I have a feeling the are old sheep and have been around all the back to the mid 80s. I loose sleep when I buy a new toy too, IM sure other did in the 80s too.

I usually take about 8 tylenol PMs and sleep. Or I will be in my shop working on something until I pass out. My parents getting divorced makes my mind go a million miles an hour, thinking about how to redo my shop when my old man takes EVERYTHING.

Hahaha!!! I was just thinking about this just this morning. So, I'm a newbie to the trike world. I made a bunch of homemade mods to get my trike ready for hunting season in a few weeks. So last night, I'm lying there at 11:30pm wide awake thinking of what mods I want to do to this thing. Next thing I know, I'm dressed again and out in the garage working on my trike messing around with a few things.
