My friend was having me repair the wiring in his m and it would run till it got warm and totally looses spark for a little bit till it cools down. What might the problem be? And how do i test to see if it is the problem?
Thanks, Jon

if it runs while its cold?
get a hairdryer and blast components one at a time till it dies.
heat up the cdi box, heat up the coil etc since it sounds like you have a few minutes of predictable cold running time to work with and the first one to kill it is your new part number.
make sure the ground for the coil to the frame is CLEAN..
sounds like cdi to me
