mine has 2 'o' rings and the filter can be put in wrong X 2.
either flipped in backwards and / or the spring can go on the wrong side .
both ways spells almost instant disaster for the camshaft and head oilers.
I got a new sx yesterday so I have to double check too or I'd tell you the secret

The filter should be labeled something like "this side in"
Putting the trike up on its side is the easiest way to get the spring in (first), then the filter.
That filter also fits 350X.
