    Old pic I found

Heres an old pic I found while at my parents. It was in an album. It was taken in 1972 or 1973.
Thats me sitting on it. My dad used to take me for rides around the farmers fields. Wish it was still around.
Sorry for the crappy pic. It was taken with my cell phone. My scanner isnt working

Is that a Mudbug? Cool looking thing. I wonder how stable they are compared to normal 3 wheelers?

Im not sure of the make. Unfortunately my parents sold it when we moved. I was 4 when we moved so besides my dad taking me for rides I never got to ride it alone.

I had one like it when I was about 8 to 10 yrs old. They are very stable. Mine had a open differential, not a solid axle, so turning was no problem. Mine had about a 3.5hp Tecumseh. My brother rode a mini-bike at the same time and it was a blast. I would love to find another one now just because it was my first trike.

Awesome pic, thanks for sharing! Do you actually remember the rides, or are the photos the only memory of it?

I remember when I was a youngster say around 10-12 years old and looking at the huge JC Penneys catalog and the Sears catalogs and seeing those big wheeled trikes and go carts and wishing I could have one. My parents never got into fun stuff like those kind of vehicles. I also remember dreaming about the cool big wheeled vehicles in the back of Boys Life magazine. i was so jealous of kids that had those kind of toys.

    Does this look familiar?

This looks like what you had. The year makes sense.
