    ATC 200s bulbs??

    Hey Everyone,

I have a stock 84 200s and was wanting to upgrade the lights. I love the look of the twin Baja style headlights and was curious if I could go with a set of 55w Halogen driving lights. I think the stock bulbs are 45/45. Is an extra 20 watts going to hurt anything?

    Thanks
    Jordon

    Here is your manual:

Your 200S puts out 50w, so I would say a 55w bulb would be too big.

According to Ricky Stator's website they make a 75 watt stator for the 110, 185, and 200X, but not for the 200S. I don't know if any of those will work on your trike. If you could swing a 75 watt stator you would have no problem runing 1 55 watt bulb.

Thanks for the info! For some reason I always thought they ran both filaments for high. I came across some 20W LED driving lights that look like they might just be perfect, their supposed to be brighter than 55w headlights. They work on 10-20V is there any problems running led lights on these bikes?

    Thanks
