Neat, was considering something like that for my kids. What's the other 3-wheeler in the background? Is that a 'German Sheppard'?, just kidding with ya my friend.![]()
83' 200x (son's). 85' 200 auto-x & 85' 125m (daughters). 84' Tecate(?). 85' KXT Tecate (mine!, mine!, mine!.)+ some others but don't feel like typing them in.
this thing is pretty bad a** i got on wet dirt i got wheelspin till 5th. it`s geard low. the one in the back is my 86 tecate ( street legal). my dog is a german sheppard- terrrier mix
Thats a cool little bike. What does the crossbar pad on your handlebars say?

it says Kawasaki an there is "bad ufo" and "future shok" on it. maybe an ufo aftermarket pad for kawasaki. it was on the kx when i bought it
nice job on your conversion.im sure someone will chime in on some fenders for your trike.make another vid wearing a helmet cause i fear this one will be removed,(rules).

could you send me pictures of the back. i want to build one but unsure how to build the swingarm. also what did you use to widen the forks? i see in the video you put a no name atv wheel on there
i think thouse are the stock tripples
i machined wider triples out of aluminum for it. it also has another frontwheel now. i can pull it out of the garage on weekend and upload some pictures
Pretty cool! I am also interested in building one of these.
Keep on Triking!!!! "I am the NIGHT RIDER!!!"

This is sweet, the more dirt bike conversions the better!
here are some detail pics
the hubs i machined:
The whole axle setup is bolted to the stock swingarm. the two outer pieces are turnable and the bearings are excentric so i can thight the chain by turning them. i`m thinking about building a complete aluminum swingarm.
next thing to do is lowering the rearend and put the rear fender on
the triples are machined out of 20mm aluminum and the steering stops are bolted on. the forks are off an suzuki rg 80 because they are shorter than de originals
The front wheel is off an noname atv for kids. i machined the axle and fronthub. i dont plan on using a frontbrake. the reartires are gocart raintires (they got no air in them right now)
in this pic a kx conversion is shown which uses a rearend setup that looks almost like mine. (i found this pic after i built my setup and was surprised that somebody already went this way)

so, winters here again and i finally found some time and a rear fender for it. still needs a bit of trimming but i think it looks alright in size and shape. i also added a shorter dogbone so it sits a bit lower in the rear. i already bought green car wrapping foil to color the fender. got it off ebay for one buck, i think it's for a 50cc quad. next step is fabricating new tripples to get less rake and mofe the forks forward to get some more steerig angle.

I like it. What are the rear fenders from? Are the rims all 6 inch wheels? Looks like a blast!
the front is a 6 inch and the rears are 5 inch. the front fender is a honda z 50 fibreglass fender and the rear is ??? i really don't know what it's off. but i got 2 of them off ebay for 1 buck a piece.
