my friend's neighbour has a tri-z that he kinda wrecked in a crash, i am hopin to get it now, i am going to give him a call tommorow about it, my friend says it runs a little bit, but i dont know for sure, if he is goin to sell it cheap, i am going to have a new addition to the family.

P.S. anything i should look out on a tri-z?? i know they are a 250, are they 2 or 4 stroke?, air or liquid? any help would be nice, also, post up some pics, i am guess it is around 19 84 to 1985

well first if it is a tri-z it is 85-86 next it is 2 stroke liquid cooled. not to many problems. if you need any parts let me know i have a completye tri-z with a bad motor. good luck heres my restored Z too

The 2 main problems with tri z's are the water pump seal going bad and the rear shock seal going out. Other than that they seem to be a reliable bike. Here is a pic of my 85 that i've made look like the 86.
