Not to change the subject but kinda on the same note did you see the TWO to a crate Special 86 Chrome Honda Z50's get to $56,000 a few years back? Didn't make reserve even. I printed copies of the EBAY auction to document it. MONEY $$$$

Goodluck on this one Andy! I'm not even going to speculate what this could go for. It is the only known crated R in existence. Believe me, there are people out there that have been looking exactly for this for years. You are definitely going to make some good money off this one man. This is very exciting!

If I were to quess, i would say the number would be between 20-23K, I have done several 15K 86 250r restorations and to have one new in the crate with all the correct stuff just imagine , correct color plastic , correct stamped tires, new tank ,stuff that is just extinct this is the best of the best , best model ATC made and new in the crate this will break records for sure .

Saw them, Same seller had a very nice 86 X. It had been setup and rode around the yard,,,literally. He sold it with the original DUST on it! For real, did not wash it off! It went,$8200,I believe. The Z's are still in Jersey as far as I know.

I'd get that thing in a heartbeat if i had the cash.

Spend a month putting it together, then carefully place it in my living room inside a display case. Charge $200 admission

$15,600 with 9 days left! This think is going way over 15k! Probably over $30k when it's said and done!

    You are being sarcastic correct?
Everytime a thread starts about this R somebody comes in here and claims something like this. Then the same old routine, we ask for pics or verification, guy who said it never responds. It's like one of those urban legends, that miraculously spreads around the internet, then you start getting those emails from your annoying friends that like to forward chit like this to you, but never have anything meaningful to share. Then a bunch of people believe it, then it shows up on Mythbusters a year later.
