Honestly Andy, I'm glad it's still in your hands. If you choose to sell outside of Ebay you will have a much better chance of ensuring its future.
    Rides:
1986 ATC250R (sectional pipe and Klemm Research silencer)
1986 ATC250R (Desert Bike, WAX-ON seat, Dual Cibie lights, Steering Stabilizer)
1979 ATC110 (Bandito frame and forks, Turbo wheels, disc braked)
    1982 ATC70 (Lifan manual 125)
    1987 LT80 (piped, widened)

So typical. People bidding on a $50,000 item that couldn't afford $50.00. Alas, the golden calf remains in the tabernacle.

I have to agree with Dcreel, I'm sorry you didn't get your money, but just the same I"m really glad you still have it. My worst fear was that some really rich douche would end up with it only to open it and ride it. I really want to see this stay in the crate. If you do sell it in the future, I hope it's to someone who will appreciate it for what it is.

I think I'm going to take a few days to ponder before entertaining any off ebay offers. The worst way this could have gone in my eyes was to have just made reserve and that's it. I now appreciate even more what I have. Granted I'd been happy to get a financial bailout so to speak, but it just wasn't meant to be. I can pull the nose up on this deal, just need you all to help me.... Please don't sell anything to me anymore! Block my ebay name on all your accounts! LOL HA Ha ha!
    No more purchases!

I emailed that douche bag about his SOOOOOOO blatantly USED quads... he said they never came out of the crate with a chain on them. While he MIGHT be correct on the TRX's,I KNOW better on all the ATC"S and motorcycles.. I thought I heard somewhere he was a former Honda dealer??? !!! Some dealer he must have been? All of these chains are endless, not to say that the dealers didn't have to do them. But I am 99.99% sure they were on from Honda.. Completely pointless anyhow.. Anyone that has been around these, takes ONE glance at those machines ,,KNOWS they are NOT new!! Period. Very nice and def worth somewhere in the $10000 range for the pair. Or maybe I"M wrong and my 87 ATC's are worth hundreds of thousands!! I have stickers from new Hondas I can hang on the bars!! Takes ALL kinds.

I have to say that the bikes are new and I have seen them in person. He might have taken the chains off so nothing rubs I am not sure. The 89 was the last one produced from Honda and he has a letter from the tech at Honda stating it was the last one ever built. These bikes are definately worth some cash, not saying they are worth the asking price but he figures that if a crate hits $50K then these bikes are worth more. Andy knows this guy as well and bought his 250TRX's from him. I want to see someone buy the 1986 crate bike and put it in a museum where it belongs.

Hey, Don. Don't know if you get to exriders much, but Scott was discussed a bit over there too. You seem like a nice guy, and I don't mean to offend or slam you. Take this as my honest true opinions and judge for yourself.
Those bikes are extremely nice, but are in no way actually straight from the dealer new. Unless you consider an entire bike bought through a close family dealership's parts department in the 90's, then assembled at someone's home, to be the last ever produced "NEW" TRX 250R ever built. That's what he has there. I've seen them in person too. New bikes come with chains and don't come with stickered tires, worn paint, and scuffed seats. They were built by the best bull $h!t artist on the planet with no expense spared. BUT, they are simply awesome builds, with a false story. The supposed paper work I saw at Scott's was something anyone with a lot of time on their hands could print up, kinda similar to the reprinted brochures and decals available on ebay today. You know how good some of these reproductions are being made now'a days (very hard to distinguish) Well, official looking Honda letters can be made as well. The tech that assembled the R's is Scott, and he fabed the Honda memos too! Scott can weave a tall tale. Don't feel bad, they look real good, but you can trip Scott up if your on your game. Believe me this is not jeliousy comming out , but just the truth as I believe it to be. He has the nicest and closest to being NOS '88 &'89 TRX 250Rs I've EVER seen!
During this auction an ebay member has messaged me twice in regards to sending pictures of his claimed '89 TRX 250R in the crate. Hope to see it some day! But till then Scott's two are my favorites! Just wish he was more honest.

Sorry for being a post whore here today, but thought some of you might enjoy this late message entry in my ebay mailbox.

More sewage from the cesspool of ebay. Here is a pasted quote from a lovely gentleman whom didn't care for the R auction. I have only edited his curse words. Below it then was my reply. Sorry if this is to negative or just plain boring, but this is a prime example of what I had to deal with during the auction. I'll be adding 386theresa to my block list. (oops! I meant to say "melted down over 20 years ago" in my reply)

    Dear k10seibel,

"Yeah to all you brain dead ATC 250r f**k heads out there, that say they know 250r's, if you know so much, why is a 1986 atc 250r engine black. Only 1985 250r engines are black. Take a closer look at the pic and you'll see what i'm talking about.

P.S. Someone that has a product this long, should have the title too."

    - 386theresa

    Dear 386theresa,

Fist off, no need for foul remarks potty mouth!
Second the pictures show "if YOU look close" a grey metallic '86 ATC engine. I should know the color, as I own it, regardless of the poor lighting in the photos! And Why do you think there's no title Sherlock. It was not suppose to "exist". They chopped all remaining ATC Rs up in 87. How do you expect to have a paper trail of something that should of been chopped up, scraped, and melted down over 210 years ago! Ya dope! I'll post your wise remarks on the various message boards with your ebay name for others to judge or "BLOCK". Good Day!
