    Smile spacers

    Hey trikers,
Bought some wheel spacers for my Honda 250es BR - 85 model. They are 2.5" spacers, and I got a good price on them(i thinK)lol, anyway they did not come with the long studs I need. Where can I get some? I went to the local tractor supply and got some grade 5 (nonmetric)hardware, but I'm afraid they will never stay tight, especially on the side with the drum brakes! Where can i get some studs that are splined like the oem ones? Maybe this is why they were so cheap.Any way, need help! Thanks, keep on trikin!

I'm unable to use split washers and regular bolts due to the brake drum on the left! Help!

On my 85 250es the brake drum is on the right side. Looks like regular bolts would work. Plenty of room between the drum and hub on mine.

Regular bolts and plumers tape. Thats what I use on my flattracker. The correct bolts will cost you more than the spacers. you should have the room

I used 10.9 grade bolts, turned the heads down (button shaped) in the lathe, and tack welded (tig) them to the inside of the hub... (on the front of my ES) Been beating it for a year and a half without any issue at all...
No trikes. Too old, too crippled. Unless I find one I can't live without!
