Well, the frame is clearly an 86 or 87 200x because of the square tubing.

it IS a '86, he sent me some pics i will now post up:

and he also said this when he sent the pictures:
"Hey man, So to my surprise it is a 200x frame. I found a second tag on the lower part of the frame and that's what it says. Here are some pics I just took of the the vin tag, the stamped numbers on the headstock and that id tag. Also found a sticker with a 225 price tag on it for the tank! Is that tank really worth that much?? Am I asking to little for this bike or what? I may have a guy stopping by tomorow night, that might take it, he seemed pretty interested in taking on the project. I'm off tomorow and should be around most of the day, give me a ring if you want to come out and have a look.

    Home 519-xxx-xxxx

    Cheers Rick."
that was last week sometime so i guess the guy stopping by never showed up or backed out cause he relisted it.

Edit: and as for the rear and what he's interested in for trades/trade and cash:
"No clue what the rear is from, I suspect an old trike like a 70. No interest in another 3 wheeler. Also looking for a home theater system, or an old home stereo amp with speakers, an old beat up shop tool box for my garage, tools."

It is an 86 frame but all 85 parts and a cobbled rear end..........

    That motor looks nice though

Yes. it is called a Missle Kit. There is another conversion kit as well, but the name eludes me right now.
