The left side is your looking at it from the back broke in one piece, possible to save it by welding? I can lay down a nice bead but haven't found any info searching for this.

If nothing got bent I dont see why you couldnt as long as its a clean break and doesnt have a gap or anything.
you could also cut away the tube and weld in a new piece.

So your a good Tig welder?? Stock carriers are cast aluminum and can be porous in places.
Aluminum needs clean clean clean!!
As long as you won't get hurt if your weld fails or next to it, give it a go
