I just put a DG RCM full exhaust (for a 250sx) on my Big Red...header pipe is just fine...but the only real difference is the two can mounts (upper / lower) were off about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch.
Managed to get it mounted, and it is great....and changed the carb jetting. Put the stock system in a box.
ATCtim is right though...the stock systems are different...only in the can mount locations I believe...they have different part #'s too.
